The City is not waking up to Number of "For Rent" Signs
Circa October 2008, take a walk downtown, and you will see so many for lease signs, that you will wonder if a gold rush ended.
The Santa Barbara City Council is acting as though this is not
but it is their policies that have contributed to the desolation of local business, and the near bankrupcy of the City.
Will high density housing and traffic help reduce or increase the number of "For Rent" signs downtown?
Why does the City want parking and driving downtown to be more difficult than shopping at Costco? Even the local downtown discount store has ridiculous parking.

Do we really want problematic driving downtown, especially when fires and earthquakes are just waiting to happen?
